Hi, I’m Matt Harrington,

I’ve been writing songs for over 30 years—not as a profession, but as something I’ve always been drawn to. Now, I’m bringing together the best of those songs to create an album you didn’t know you needed.

These songs cover everything from love and loss to searching for purpose, along with a few lighthearted moments along the way. Some were written on my own, others in collaboration with close friends who’ve been part of this journey for decades.

Back in the early 2000s, I was part of a contemporary Christian rock band called Points Beyond. That experience—and the people I created music with—still influence what I’m doing today. In fact, many of the voices and players you’ll hear on this project are friends I’ve known most of my life.

I call this project “The 40 Year Reunion”—a reflection of the relationships and musical connections that have come full circle over time. The current recordings are being brought to life with my friends in Sofa King Revolution, an incredibly talented group I’ve known since childhood.

Right now, I’m in the demo and arrangement phase. Recording is set for July, with mixing and mastering to follow in August.

This album has been a long time coming—and I’m excited to finally share it.
